Terms of Use

InterviewCue is operated by PDX Web Properties, LLC. These terms govern your use of InterviewCue. We wrote them in plain language because nobody should need a lawyer to understand the rules.

By creating an account or using InterviewCue, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Straightforward enough.

What We Provide

InterviewCue is a professional interview management platform. We give you tools to prepare interviews, conduct them live with real-time collaboration, generate transcripts, and handle post-production with timeline alignment, chapter markers, and professional exports.

We work hard to keep the service reliable and available, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Maintenance, updates, and the occasional unexpected issue happen. We'll do our best to communicate planned downtime in advance.

Your Account

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use InterviewCue.

Accurate information

Provide accurate information when you create your account. A real name and a working email address. We need these to provide the service and communicate with you about your account.

One person, one account

Accounts are for individual use. Do not share your login credentials with others. If multiple people on your team need access to shared interviews, that's exactly what our Team plan is designed for. It gives each person their own account with shared access to a common interview library.

Account security

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in your account settings for additional protection. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, change your password immediately and contact us at support@interviewcue.com.

Your Content

Everything you create in InterviewCue — questions, notes, audio, transcripts, show notes, chapters — belongs to you. We don't claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over your content.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. For example, we need to store your audio to let you play it back, and we need to process it to generate transcripts. That's the extent of it. We won't use your content for anything else.

You can export all your data or delete your account at any time. When you delete, we delete everything. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable Use

InterviewCue is built for managing interviews. Use it for that. Here's what's not okay:

No content publishing or distribution

InterviewCue is a production tool, not a publishing platform. Do not use InterviewCue to host or distribute content publicly. This means you may not use audio file URLs, transcript links, or any other InterviewCue URLs as public download links, embed them on websites, share them on social media as direct media links, or otherwise use them to serve content to an audience. Your audio and transcripts are stored for your production workflow, not for public consumption.

To be clear: exporting your content and publishing it through your own channels (your podcast host, your website, your YouTube channel) is exactly what InterviewCue is designed to help with. What we prohibit is using our infrastructure as the distribution mechanism.

No abuse or harmful activity

• Don't attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• Don't interfere with the service or other users' experience
• Don't use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the service
• Don't upload malicious files or content designed to exploit the system
• Don't use the service for anything illegal

No impersonation or misrepresentation

Don't create accounts under false identities or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.

Pricing and Payment

InterviewCue offers Free, Pro, and Team plans. Current pricing is listed on our pricing page. The platform is available on a free tier with optional paid plans.

Paid plans require an active subscription. We won't charge you without your explicit consent. No surprise charges, no automatic upgrades. You can cancel or downgrade at any time.

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Any price changes will be communicated before they take effect.

Live Collaboration and Shared Sessions

InterviewCue allows you to invite cohosts and guests to live interview sessions. When you share a session, participants can see the interview questions and contribute events in real time.

You control who has access. Session links are unique and access can be revoked by ending the session. You are responsible for who you invite to your sessions.

Termination

By you

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. This permanently removes all your data. We recommend exporting your data first if you want to keep it.

By us

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly for abuse, content distribution through our platform, account sharing, or activity that harms other users or the service. We'll try to contact you first when possible, but we reserve the right to act immediately if needed to protect the service or other users.

Disclaimers

InterviewCue is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the service's reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

While we work hard to keep things running smoothly, we can't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all features will work perfectly on every device and browser combination.

Transcripts are generated automatically and may contain errors. Always review transcripts before publishing.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDX Web Properties, LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of InterviewCue.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

We strongly recommend maintaining your own backups of important audio files and content. The data export feature is there for exactly this purpose.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of InterviewCue shall be resolved in the courts located in Portland, Oregon.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make meaningful changes, we'll notify you by email before they take effect. Minor wording or formatting changes won't trigger a notification, but the effective date at the top will always reflect the latest update.

Continued use of InterviewCue after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
